Create a Google Account
A Google Account gives you access to many Google products. With a Google Account, you can do things like:

Tip: You don't need a Gmail account to create a Google Account. You can use your non-Gmail email address to create one instead.
Choose a new username
- Send and receive email using Gmail

- Download apps from Google Play

- Go to the Google account creation page.
- Enter your name.
- In the "Username" field, enter the username you want for your account.
- Enter and confirm your password.
- Click Next.
- Verify your mobile phone number with the code sent through text.
- Click Verify.
- Go to the Google Account creation page.
- Enter your name.
- Click Use my current email address instead.
- Enter your current email address.
- Click Next.
- Verify your email address with the code sent to your existing email.
- Click Verify.

- On your computer, open the Docs home screen at docs.google.com.
- In the top left, under "Start a new document," click New.

- To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change.
- Start editing.
- To undo or redo an action, at the top, click Undo or Redo .
